Bien qu’elle possède déjà à son actif les casques les plus légers qui existent sur le marché, KEP Italia a souhaité aller plus loin: créer un casque qui pèse moins de 400 g.
E-light pèse en effet 396 g, grâce à sa coque entièrement fabriquée en carbone, réalisée à la main de manière artisanale, à travers un processus en autoclave, afin de travailler soigneusement les moindres détails esthétiques. L’autoclave prévoit un processus long et complexe. Des artisans spécialisés stratifient les trames du carbone à la main, afin d’obtenir d'excellents résultats en termes de qualité et de résistance mécanique élevée, rendant la coque légère mais tout aussi résistante et offrir une plus grande protection, malgré la légèreté finale du casque. E-light est incontestablement le casque le plus léger actuellement disponible sur le marché, mais également l’un des plus sûrs au monde.
Le modèle Naked, en version brillante ou opaque, ne présente aucun autre insert afin d’accentuer davantage la trame du carbone.

Although it already boosts the lightest hats on the market, KEP Italia went further and created a hat weighing less than 400g.
E-light weighs only 396g, thanks to its 100% carbon cap, handcrafted through the autoclave process to handle the minimal aesthetic details. The autoclave process is long and complex. Specialized artisans stratify the carbon fibers by hand to obtain excellent results in terms of quality and high mechanical strength, making the cap light but equally resistant thus achieving enhanced protection notwithstanding the final lightness of the hat. E-light is undoubtedly the lightest hat on the market today, but it is also among the safest in the world.
The Naked model, in gloss or matte, is devoid of any other insert, in order to enhance even more the carbon texture.
